Not every deep well project requires the complete pump to be manufactured from one material.
For this European order, the customer selected a 400QJH210-300/11-300kW deep well submersible pump with a combination of cast iron and stainless steel components.
The configuration included a cast iron pump head, stainless steel impellers and stainless steel submersible motor.
This design provides a practical balance between structural strength, corrosion resistance and overall project cost.
The stainless steel impellers are located in one of the most important hydraulic sections of the pump, while the stainless steel motor remains submerged throughout operation. The cast iron pump head provides a strong connection and supporting structure for the pumping unit.
Hydraulically, the pump delivers:
210 m³/h flow at 300 m head, driven by a 300 kW motor.
For deep groundwater systems, this combination is particularly useful when the customer needs high performance but does not require every component to be manufactured entirely from stainless steel.
The finished pump was prepared for a European deep-well application, providing a customized alternative to standard all-cast-iron or full-stainless-steel configurations.
