Product Overview

The SP Stamped Stainless Steel Submersible Pump is a high-head multistage pump designed for extracting and transporting clean water from deep wells, reservoirs and underground water sources.
The pump operates completely submerged in water and uses a vertical multistage hydraulic structure to provide stable flow and high discharge pressure. With a flow range of 5 to 160 m³/h and a head range of 10 to 350 meters, the SP series is suitable for deep-well water lifting, agricultural irrigation, municipal and industrial water supply, sprinkler irrigation and other high-head water-transfer applications.
The pump components are manufactured from stamped stainless steel, providing good corrosion resistance, structural stability and clean-water compatibility.
Its slim vertical structure occupies very little surface space and can be installed directly inside a well. Because the pump operates below the water level, it does not require a conventional above-ground pump room and helps reduce noise around the installation area.
The stainless steel construction also helps maintain water quality and reduces the risk of contamination caused by rusting pump components.
SIZE RESTRICTION: This product series starts from 6 inches. Pumps below 6 inches are not available.

Main Product Features

High-Head Water Delivery

The SP pump provides a head range of 10 to 350 meters.
Its multistage impeller structure gradually increases water pressure through each stage, making the pump suitable for deep wells, high-elevation water delivery and long-distance pressure pipelines.

Stamped Stainless Steel Construction

The pump uses stamped stainless steel components that provide good resistance to corrosion in clean-water applications.
Compared with ordinary cast iron components, stainless steel helps reduce rust formation and is more suitable for systems where water quality and material cleanliness are important.

Corrosion-Resistant Design

The stainless steel structure provides reliable corrosion resistance for groundwater, irrigation water and general clean-water applications.
The exact stainless steel grade and component configuration should be confirmed according to the water composition, chloride content, pH value and operating conditions.

Small Installation Footprint

The vertical submersible structure requires very little ground-level installation space.
The pump can be installed directly inside a deep well, reducing the need for a large pump room or complicated suction-pipeline arrangement.

Does Not Contaminate the Water Source

The stainless steel construction helps minimize rust and material contamination in the pumped water.
When correctly selected and maintained, the pump is suitable for clean-water supply systems where protecting water quality is an important consideration.

Submerged Operation

The pump and motor operate below the water level.
Submerged installation eliminates the need for suction priming and allows water to enter the pump under positive pressure, supporting stable operation in deep-well applications.

Wide Performance Range

Flow capacities from 5 to 160 m³/h and heads up to 350 meters are available for different well depths, water demands and pipeline conditions.

Stable Multistage Performance

The multistage hydraulic structure is designed to provide stable pressure and continuous water delivery.
A suitable number of stages can be selected according to the required flow and total system head.

Quiet Above-Ground Environment

Because the pump operates inside the well and below the water surface, operating noise at ground level is generally lower than that of many conventional surface-mounted pumping systems.

Main Applications

Deep-Well Water Extraction

The SP Submersible Pump is designed for lifting groundwater from deep wells.
It can be used in agricultural areas, municipal water facilities, industrial sites, residential developments and locations where surface-water resources are limited.
The pump model should be selected according to the well depth, dynamic water level, required flow and total discharge head.

Agricultural Irrigation

The pump can supply water for farmland irrigation, orchards, greenhouses and livestock-water systems.
Its high-head performance makes it suitable for transporting groundwater from deep wells to fields located at a higher elevation or a considerable distance from the water source.

Water Supply Systems

The SP pump can be used in municipal, residential, commercial and industrial water-supply systems.
It is suitable for transferring water from deep wells to storage tanks, reservoirs, pressure vessels or distribution pipelines.

Sprinkler Irrigation Systems

The pump provides the pressure required by agricultural and landscape sprinkler systems.
It can support fixed sprinklers, mobile sprinkler equipment and large-area irrigation networks when the correct flow and head are selected.

Pressurized Irrigation Systems

The pump can also be integrated into pressurized agricultural water systems, including drip irrigation and combined sprinkler-and-drip irrigation projects.
Pressure regulation and filtration equipment should be installed according to the irrigation system requirements.

Long-Distance Water Transportation

With a maximum head of up to 350 meters, the pump can be used for transporting water over long distances or overcoming significant differences in elevation.
Pipeline diameter, friction loss, water level and outlet pressure should be considered during model selection.

Reservoir and Tank Water Transfer

The pump can be installed in suitable reservoirs, water tanks and collection wells for clean-water transfer, provided that sufficient cooling flow is maintained around the submersible motor.

Typical Pumped Media

The SP Stamped Stainless Steel Submersible Pump is primarily designed for transporting:

  • Clean groundwater;
  • Well water;
  • Irrigation water;
  • Municipal supply water;
  • Reservoir water;
  • Treated clean water;
  • Water with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water.

The pumped liquid should generally be free from:

  • Large solid particles;
  • Sand in excessive concentrations;
  • Long fibers;
  • Sludge;
  • Highly abrasive contaminants;
  • Strongly corrosive chemicals.

Water-quality data should be provided when the groundwater contains significant sand, minerals, salts, chlorides or chemically active components.

Advantages of the Multistage Design

The SP pump contains multiple impellers arranged vertically along the pump shaft.
As the water passes through each stage, its pressure increases. This allows the pump to generate a much higher total head than a conventional single-stage pump of a similar diameter.

The multistage structure offers several advantages:

  • High discharge pressure;
  • Suitable for deep-well water lifting;
  • Stable water delivery over long distances;
  • Flexible head selection through different stage configurations;
  • Compact diameter relative to the available pressure;
  • Suitable for high-elevation supply systems;
  • Convenient installation inside vertical well casings.

The correct number of stages should be selected according to the dynamic water level, vertical lifting height, pipeline resistance and required outlet pressure.

Benefits of Stamped Stainless Steel Construction

Stamped stainless steel components are formed from stainless steel sheets using precision manufacturing processes.
This structure provides several practical benefits:

  • Good corrosion resistance;
  • Clean and smooth internal surfaces;
  • Reduced risk of rust contamination;
  • Lower component weight compared with many heavy cast structures;
  • Stable hydraulic passage dimensions;
  • Suitable for clean-water applications;
  • Convenient integration into narrow deep-well pump structures.

The final stainless steel grade should be selected based on the water chemistry and site requirements.

Water Source Protection

Protecting the water source is particularly important in groundwater and drinking-water-related applications.
The stainless steel pump structure helps reduce direct contact between the water and rust-prone cast iron components. This makes the SP pump suitable for applications where maintaining clean water and reducing secondary contamination are priorities.
However, overall water quality also depends on:

  • Well construction;
  • Pipeline material;
  • Storage-tank condition;
  • Cable and seal compatibility;
  • Installation cleanliness;
  • Water-treatment requirements;
  • Regular inspection and maintenance.

The complete water system should be designed according to the intended use of the water.

Pump Selection Information

To select the correct SP Stamped Stainless Steel Submersible Pump, please provide the following information:

  1. Required flow rate in m³/h;
  2. Required head or outlet pressure;
  3. Total well depth;
  4. Static water level;
  5. Dynamic water level during pumping;
  6. Well casing inside diameter;
  7. Vertical lifting height;

Please confirm that the required pump size is 6 inches or larger. We do not provide models below 6 inches.
Complete operating data helps determine the correct pump size, number of stages, motor power, discharge connection and cable configuration.

Well and Installation Requirements

Before selecting the pump, the inside diameter of the well casing must be checked carefully.
The well must provide sufficient clearance for:

  • The pump body;
  • The submersible motor;
  • The power cable;
  • Cable protectors;
  • Connection components;
  • Safe lowering and removal of the pump.

The pump should not be forced into a well with insufficient clearance.
Because this series is available only in 6-inch and larger sizes, the well casing must be designed for the corresponding pump diameter.
The pump should be installed vertically unless a specific model and cooling arrangement allow another installation method.

Installation Recommendations

The pump should be suspended securely using the discharge pipe and appropriate lifting equipment.
The electrical cable must be protected from sharp edges, excessive tension and damage during installation.
The pump should be installed below the dynamic water level while maintaining the immersion depth required for reliable operation and motor cooling.
It should not be installed directly at the bottom of the well where sand, sediment and debris may enter the pump.
A check valve should be installed where required to prevent reverse flow and reduce water hammer after shutdown.
For deep installations, the weight of the water column, pipe, cable and pump must be considered when selecting lifting equipment and pipe connections.
Dry running must be avoided. Suitable water-level sensors or dry-run protection should be included in the control system.

Recommended Protection and Control

For reliable operation, the pump system may include:

  • Overload protection;
  • Phase-loss protection;
  • Overvoltage and undervoltage protection;
  • Dry-run protection;
  • Low-water-level protection;
  • Short-circuit protection;
  • Motor-temperature protection where available;
  • Pressure control;
  • Automatic start and stop control;
  • Variable-frequency control when suitable.

The control configuration should match the motor rating, power supply and operating requirements.

Operation and Maintenance

The pump should be inspected regularly to ensure reliable operation.
Recommended checks include:

  • Operating current;
  • Supply voltage;
  • Outlet pressure;
  • Water flow;
  • Cable condition;
  • Insulation resistance;
  • Check-valve operation;
  • Abnormal vibration or noise;
  • Changes in well-water level;
  • Sand content in the pumped water.

A noticeable reduction in flow or pressure may indicate changes in the water level, pipeline blockage, impeller wear, voltage problems or well conditions.
The pump should be removed and inspected according to the operating environment and maintenance schedule.
